Made for the SKG Jam 2026 theme, High Score Chasers: every run is a two minute chase of somebody's number, the board's or your friend's.

Two minutes on the lake. Biggest score wins. The shimmering water is where the fish are. Drive the boat close, read the shadows, and cast. Small fish land instantly and keep your streak alive. The big ones fight: hold to reel, let go when the line runs red, and don't let it spit the hook. Big fish add time. Nine species from bluegill to a hundred pound sturgeon, each with its own shadow and its own temper. Watch for the gold one. CONTROLS Desktop: WASD or arrows to drive. Hold the mouse button to charge a cast, release to throw, hold to reel. Space also reels. Phone: left thumb drives, right thumb pulls back and releases to cast, holds to reel. Portrait or landscape, your call. CHALLENGE A FRIEND Finish a run and grab your challenge code from the title screen. Your friend plays the same lake against your live pace. No account, no server. Paste codes on the title screen. GLOBAL LEADERBOARD Top 100, three initials, arcade rules. Challenge runs stay off the board so a known lake can't be farmed. END OF LIFE PLAN LUNKER is one HTML file. No server required to play, no account, no login, works offline once loaded. The leaderboard is the only online piece and the game plays fine without it. If every server on earth goes dark, the file still runs. Download it, keep it, it's yours. Music is our own synthesized arrangement of the traditional sea shanty Drunken Sailor (public domain). Cover art is AI generated. The code was written with AI assistance (Claude) on our own hand-built engine. Everything in the game itself, all art and all sound, is procedural code, no asset files. Title music is our own synth arrangement of Drunken Sailor, public domain.
