You run a one-flame curry stall. The counter fills with hungry people, the pan is yours, and the night has a clock.

Every spice tempers in its own narrow window. Hold the flame into the pale band, drop the spice, and flip it at the top of its bloom. Too early and it is raw. Too late and it burns, and the counter watches you botch it. Ten spices, each breaks one rule: mustard pops, chili flashes in a heartbeat, onion takes its time, tomato drops the oil temp, turmeric never burns but never sings.

Then there is the pepper. Black pepper does not just temper, it cracks. Land a clean peppercorn flip and THE CRACK goes off: the pan bursts, the whole counter turns its head at the smell, and the till jumps. Cook the pepper dishes and lean on it.

Serve what the counter actually orders. Feed them and demand grows and the stools fill. Keep them waiting and they walk, and the morning paper says so. Bank the night's take into your kitchen and come back sharper.

One HTML file, no server, nothing phones home.

HOW TO PLAY. Keyboard or touch. HEAT: hold Left or Up-arrow to raise the flame; on phone, hold the left half of the screen. ACT: tap Right or Space to drop the spice, then again at the top of the bloom to flip it; on phone, tap the right half. Serve the dish the counter is asking for. Pepper flips trigger THE CRACK. Options, tutorial, trophies, a save code, and English and Spanish are all in the game.

THEMES. Primary, CURRY: the whole game, a curry stall and ten real spices. Secondary, PEPPER: its own mechanic, the one spice that cracks, plus three pepper-forward curries and a hidden trophy.

Built with AI under human direction. Google Gemini (free Nano Banana) generated every image, the karahi, the finished dish, the customers, and the spice shelf, which were then art-directed to one look, keyed to transparency, and composited by hand. The code and the game design were written with Claude. The audio is synthesized in Web Audio from that code, not AI-generated sound. A human set the look, made every design call, and did the edits.
